The Pregnancy Resource Center of Gwinnett offers the following services:

Pregnancy Testing

If you are experiencing symptoms of pregnancy such as a missed period, unusual fatigue, or nausea, it is important for you to have a lab-quality pregnancy test.  If your test is positive and are at risk for an STI, we provide low-cost STI testing and treatment for two of the most common STIs, gonorrhea and chlamydia.

Ultrasound

If your pregnancy test is positive, an ultrasound may be scheduled to determine if you have a viable pregnancy as well as how far along you are in the pregnancy. An ultrasound uses sound waves to create an image. There is no pain associated with ultrasounds, and they are extremely important to help you decide your next step in your pregnancy.

STI Testing and Treatment

If you test is positive it is important to be tested for sexually transmitted infections.  We currently testing treatment for the two most common, chlamydia and gonorrhea.  Proceeding with an abortion while infected can lead to damage to your reproductive organs.

Abortion Pill Reversal

Many women who have taken the  abortion pill experience regret.  You are not alone. If you have changed your mind, there is help for you.  Abortion Pill Reversal  is a new medical procedure available to reverse the effects of the abortion pill and possibly save the life of your child. If you have taken the first dose of the abortion pill (RU-486 or Mifeprex®) and are now experiencing regret, it may not be too late.

Abortion Pill Reversal is a medical procedure designed to reverse the effects of the first abortion pill medication mifeprestone and allow a woman to carry the pregnancy to term. This is a relatively new procedure which has succeeded in a small number of cases. Progesterone, the medication used in the Abortion Pill Reversal process, is safe for pregnant women and their babies. There are no known risks to the health of the mother or the baby. Progesterone has been safely used to support pregnancies for almost sixty years. In fact, the largest study ever conducted on the safety of progesterone in pregnancy revealed that women who receive progesterone during pregnancy are actually less likely to deliver babies with fetal abnormalities.
